Your life as a seed..

Text: Genesis 8:22, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” KJV.

One of the daily wonders of God is embedded upon human conceptions and life cycle, we were taught in our High School (Secondary School) days that; it takes just the miraculous penetration of a sperm (seed) or cell to fertilize an ovum which forms a zygote {baby}.
So what is a seed? This means a fertilized grain, initially encased in a fruit, which may grow into a mature plant.

God created Adam as a seed fertilized by the pronouncement of His blessing, in Adam God embedded every ability for just that one seed to become a generation.
It is a popular phrase that, “A tree cannot make a forest”, but a fertilized seed can make a tree or trees that can as well spread to be a forest if God is involved in taming, monitoring and nurturing it.

Understanding the human life cycle.
1. It all begins as a sperm (seed) cell
2. Penetrates by grace to fertilize a ovum
3. Grows to form a zygote
4. Grows in months into embryo
5. Considered a fetus in nine months
6. Called a child or (baby) at birth
7. Grows into adolescent
8. Grows into adulthood
9. Grows into old age
10. Experiences death.

We cannot but appreciate God when we considers how precious He has designed our lives to be, our lives took all these process to be who we are today, no matter the challenging circumstances of our lives, no matter our family backgrounds, educational qualification and culture or nationality, it wasn’t a mistake that we have experienced these processes and are alive until this day and as long as God’s grace is sufficient enough to keep us alive and in health, for the living there is always a hope of a breakthrough.

To make a difference in life, one cannot afford to have knowledge of the Word of God, and to be guided of the truth and its light that shows the way in this world of darkness. When God created the universe, every living thing were seen as good and pronounced blessed, but after the fall, the ground (blessings) were cursed for man’s sake, see Genesis 3:17-20, with this curse man was drafted out of the place of dominion and blessing into a place of struggling and suffering.

From a reign of blessing and dominion to an era of struggles and suffering but this curse was averted through the sacrifice of faithful Noah, on the altar of his sacrifice after God’s grace sustained him and his family all through the flood, Genesis 8:15-21.
God spoke in Genesis 8:22, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
And this pronouncement was made in Genesis 8:14, in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried up.
This is why I believe as many as would follow this teachings in this month; are moving away from dryness into an era of blessing.

Brethren! We were created in this generation and while the earth remaineth because there will be a day it will not, the seasons of cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall not cease, not until Christ returns and the earth faces the judgment of God but the question now is where is the seed of your life sown, in righteousness in God or in sin with the devil and what is the harvest?, the end result is a reflection of your lifestyle.

The truth is; our lives are precious before God, in the seed of our lives lies great harvest, but we must submit or handover the seed (destiny) of our lives to the Lord, “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:4-5.

No matter the circumstances of our lives, if we can only submit it to God in Christ/ Mashiah Yahushua, He who knows the times and seasons, the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end, He who is Omnipresent, that is every where at the same time, He who couldn’t hold back His only begotten son to demonstrate His love while we were yet sinners, He who is the very present help in times of our needs, He who makes a Goshen in a plagued land of Egypt, He who promises and remains faithful to His promises, if you can as I have to surrender your life and build your trust in Him, He will lead you in green pastures and you will have an overflowing blessings.

When I consider the life cycle of mankind, and considers the grace and tender mercies of God that privileges us all, to survive daily, one cannot but say thank you Yahushua.

(Evang. Murphy Amos)

Father Almighty; I picture my life as a seed today with potentials of blessings to live a blessed life and be a blessing to my generation.
My life as a seed is a gift from you and I rededicate it to You this day, that You will guide me through Your Spirit to honour you with this life in Yahushua’ name Amen.
