How to get ready for God’s visitation in your life this year

Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. (1 Peter 2:12 KJV)

Have people ever spoken evil of you? Have people ever hurt you badly with words before? Have you ever been grossly misunderstood before? Have you ever been rejected before? Have people ever ganged up against you before? Have people ever lied against you that you couldn’t defend yourself?

I have news for you! The scripture above says these same people will glorify God in your life by virtue of what God will do in your life when He visits you!

This year, God will visit you! In your relationship, courtship, marriage, business, work, career or academics, God will visit you in Yahushua’ name. The same people that despised you, they will embrace you and give glory to God in your life!

Why would they do that? Because they would see the works of God in your life, it will be beyond every known explanation and they would have no choice than to give glory to God. They will know that it is not by power, nor might, but by the Spirit of God.

You find the same thing in Psalm 126
The heathen would say among themselves that the Lord has done great things for them.

You see, this year, God is about to visit you. He is about to do something in your life that will make your detractors to glorify God in your life.

However, there is only one thing that God requires from you. Having your conversation honest…

What does this mean? Look at the way the Message Translation puts it:
Live an exemplary life among the natives so that your actions will refute their prejudices (1 Peter 2:12 Message)

They are prejudiced against you, but let your actions refute their prejudices. Let your conversation be honest. Don’t join the politics. Don’t throw muds back at any body or else you will soil your hands and destiny.

Don’t attack anybody back. Don’t try to get back at the guy that promised you heaven and earth and then eloped. Don’t try to get even with that lady that took all your money which you gave out in love only to find out she was in love with another person. Don’t try to set up that guy that abandoned you. Don’t try to fix that boss that took advantage of you naivety. Don’t try to return envy with envying! Focus on God and expect your day of visitation when God will vindicate you and make all thing right. Focus on God that will bring glory out of the story. Don’t be pushed into a sexual sin in order to get back to a cheating spouse, allow God to make all things right, for He is a just God and He knows how to handle it best.

The word ‘conversation’ above means ‘behaviour,’ while the word ‘honest’ means ‘beautiful.’ In other words, let you behavior be beautiful. Don’t return an evil behavior with an ugly behavior! You remember David?
And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him (1 Samuel 18:14 KJV)

Saul tried to frustrate David, but David behaved himself wisely. The result, the Lord visited him and stayed with him. That is what I want you to do this year , FOC family! I write as a father over this house, decide to behave your self wisely. God will visit you and those who have hurt you and spoken evil of you will glorify God in your life at the end. Those who said you would never marry will share your testimony of a beautiful home. Why, God will visit you and you will press forth into your destiny!

Those who said there is no help for you in God will swallow their words, because God will visit you and lift up your head!
