“Since it was customary for the king to consult experts in matters of law and justice, he spoke with the wise men who understood the times” – Esther 1:13
In the time when king Xerxes was in power, Israel had fallen and our faithful God acted according to his word by scattering them into other nations. But when the enemy was about to strike on them (Esther 3), they proclaimed a fast, by so doing remembered to walk in the ways of God (Esther 4). God answered their prayers and remembered his children, because they remembered him (Esther 5).
Have you been calling yourself a Christian and you are still being oppressed by the enemy, then you have not done what is required. God requires his children to walk in his ways so that the enemy will not oppress them anymore. Just as King Xerxes ordered Mordecai to be honored a day after the fast (Esther 6), so God does maintains his faithfulness to those who run to him. He did not just honor Mordecai, he made the Jews to be feared all over the territories under his control (Esther 7, 8, 9).
You might have been living in this world, without knowing that your time for change had long come. You have the right to be free when you believe that Yahushua is our Lord and savior. God had initially called only the Jews his children, but after the death and resurrection of Yahushua Mashiach / Christ which God planned long ago, a new season began where all who believe that Yahushua Mashiach / Christ is Lord become children of God. Yahushua Mashiach / Christ came to take away all our troubles, so that the enemy will not possess you any longer. The enemy will oppress you just as he did to the Jews when they sinned and God punished them by handing them over to Nebuchadnezzar, so it is with the Christian who sins, the enemy comes in to oppress you. But when you turn to the cross and confess your sins, the enemy will not be able to oppress you any longer. The enemies grip on you will be weakened the moment you look to the cross.
Now your duty as a child of God is to stay where you are at the foot of the cross, don’t go back into sin, for in the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy and blessings that cannot be measured (Esther 9:22).
I don’t know who is reading this message, you might have been under oppression from the enemy because you sinned. But a new season has come to your life today, as you pray against every wrong mandate the enemy has been assigned with to supervise your downfall.
Prayer: I reverse every wrong Mandate given to any evil power to supervise my life, in Yahushua’ name. (replace my life with my marriage, my job, my children, etc).
