For him whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the spirit by measure to him. (John 3: 34)

When the spirit of God came upon the prophets, priests, judges and kings of old, they received the anointing in a measure. But the bible says of Yahushua: “For him who God has sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Holy Spirit by measure unto him” (John 3: 34). Yahushua was the first to have the spirit of God (or the anointing) in His fullness.
Christians have said this applied only to Yahushua (that He lone had the fullness of God’s spirit) and that those of us who are born again today only have a measure of the spirit, meaning we don’t have the fullness of God’s spirit. But in the light of God’s word, that’s not true. The bible says, and of his fullness have we all received, and grace for grace” (John 1: 16) More so, the Holy spirit, as a person, lives in us today in his fullness. So, we have the fullness of the spirit. The bible says in Mashiach Yahushua dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and we are complete in Him. (Colossians 2:9-10)
This same Yahushua, who had the fullness of God’s spirit, said unto us in John 20:21,”… as my Father hath sent me, even so I send you.” Now think about it: if Yahushua require the full measure of the spirit to do the work the father sent Him, and He hath sent us the same way He was sent of the father, why then should we be seen with ‘a measure’ and not the fullness of the spirit?

As a new creation in Christ, the divine life of God has completely supplanted the human life with which you were born of your parents. You are new kind of being, infused with divinity! You’ve been initiated into a vital union and openness with the Lord. God’s purpose in this regard is evident in Ephesians 3:19: “And to know the love of Christ which passeth all knowledge, that ye might be filled with the fullness of God.

As Yahushua is, so am I in this world! When I receive the Holy Spirit I received the full person of the Holy Spirit. I consistently stir up the anointing of God that is in me, which enables me to change circumstances and impact the life of those around me with the gospel of Christ. Amen.
